COISTE NA NÓG AGM

The St Mogue’s Coiste na nÓg AGM will take place on Friday evening, January 5, at 8 p.m. in St Mary’s Hall where the year just gone will be reviewed and plans made for 2018. FETHARD ST MOGUE’S GAA

The intermedia­te hurlers will play their all-Ireland semi-final against Sylane of Galway on January 20 at 3 p.m. in Parnell Park, Dublin. DVDs of the county and Leinster Finals are now on sale, contact John Hanton 086 8173437.

AGM – The annual general meeting of Fethard St Mogue’s GAA Club will take place in St Mary’s Community Hall on Friday, January 5, at 9 p.m. This is a very important meeting and all members and intending members are welcome to attend.

TOURIST OFFICE

Fethard Tourist Office is now open in the village daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Call in for all your photocopyi­ng, printing and secretaria­l services.

FETHARD SPLIT-THE-POT

Congratula­tions to David O’Connor, who won €121 in this week’s split-the-pot (December 12). Envelopes for splitthe-pot are available in the post office, Dillon’s, The Wheelhouse, Droopy’s, Molloy’s, Neville’s and the Tourist Office. Draw takes place every Tuesday. Thank you for your support.

WEEKLY LOTTO

There was no winner of last week’s Club lotto jackpot of €3,100 so next week’s jackpot stands at €3,300. The club had one lucky-dip winners Ann Carroll, who won €30. The winning numbers were 9, 10, 11 and 22.

The club would like to thank everyone who supports the lotto every week and look forward to your continued support in 2018. Anyone, who would like to contribute to the running of the club and be in with a chance of winning a prize every week can do so by purchasing a lotto ticket from any committee member or other ticket seller.

PROGRESSIV­E 45

There was a three tie for first place in the Progressiv­e 45 Card Game in Colclough Hall, Saltmills last Sunday night between Billy Shannon, Tommy Morrissey and Tony Murphy and Seán Finn and Kathleen Cadogan and Johnnie Colfer, Mick Reville and Michael Murphy. The last game draw was won by John Sinnott, James McDonald and Aidan Colfer. The Hall Committee would like to thank all the card players who supported the game during the year and everyone who helped with the catering. We look forward to seeing you again in the New Year.

SPLIT-THE-POT

Congratula­tions to Kate Caulfield, who won this month’s split-the-pot of €65. The Saltmills and St Kearns Community Group would like to thank everybody for their continued support. Next month’s draw will take place on December 31 in Vine Cottage.
