Winners of the Christmas Card Game in St Leonards Hall on December 23 were Sonny Cahill, Jimmy Cullen and Mick Reville. In second place were Charlie Collins, Mick Culleton and Seán Diskin. Third place went to Dave Walsh, Mae Dunning and James McDonald. Winners of the last game draw were; Larry Larkin, Brendan Colfer and Alice Gaffney.

There was loads of prizes to be won on the raffle. The winners were as follows: Margaret Kinsella, Maureen Eustace, Tom Culleton (2), Sonny Cahill, Margaret Culen, Jack Waters (3), Georgie Foley, Joan Kehoe, Jimmy Culen, Johnny Cogley (2), Seán O’Grady (2), Dave Walsh, Pat Whelan, Luke Power, Jack White, Finn White and James McDonald.

The cards continue every Saturday night at 8.30 p.m.

PENNY BANK

St Leonards Penny Bank will resume for 2018 this Saturday, January 6. It will operate from the hall on Saturday evenings from 8 p.m. to 8.30 p.m. and on Sunday mornings after 10 a.m. Mass. All are welcome to join.

LOTTO

There was no jackpot winner in the Tintern lotto draw last week. Three people matched numbers and each received €135. They were; Nancy Walsh, Ballycullane. Michael Kehoe, Ballytarsna and Josie Parker, Campile. The numbers drawn were 2, 15, 16 and 24.

Next week’s jackpot will be €3,800 and next week’s matchthree winners will share €200. Tickets on sale in all local shops and from committee members.
