WEXFORD ELEVEN AWARDED CARLOW IT SCHOLARSHIPS
ELEVEN Wexford students were among those awarded academic scholarships by Institute of Technology Carlow recently.
At a ceremony at the institute, 32 academic scholarships and 90 gold and elite sports scholarships for the 2017/2018 academic year were presented to students who have distinguished themselves, both academically and through their exceptional sporting ability.

• Alexandra Walton, who attended Meanscoil Garman, Enniscorthy, and is studying for a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in visual communications and design.
• Ciaran Dunne, who attended Coláiste an Átha, Kilmuckridge, and is studying for a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in mechanical engineering.
• Jack Sinnott, who went to St Peter’s College, Wexford, and is pursuing a Bachelor of Business.
• Harry Nuzum, who attended East Glendalough School, Wicklow, and is studying for a B.Eng. in mechanical engineering.
• Meabh O’Donovan, a former Gorey Community School who is studying for a BA in Art.
• Evan Quirke, who attended St Mary’s CBS, Enniscorthy, and is studying for a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in computer games development.
• Thomas Duke, who attended Blackrock College, Dublin, and is currently studying a B.Sc. in construction management with building services. Front seated (from left):
