PENNY BANK

St Leonards Penny Bank resumed for 2018 last weekend. It will operate from the hall on Saturday evenings from 8 p.m. to 8.30 p.m. and on Sunday mornings after 10 a.m. Mass. All are welcome to join.

CARDS

John Sinnott, David Murphy and Georgie Foley were the winners of the weekly card game in St Leonards hall last week. Second prize went to, Margaret Cullen, Kity Roche and Joan Kehoe. Third prize winners were Dave Walsh, Mae Dunning and James Mcdonald. Last game draw winners were Peter Stafford, Sonny Cahill and Jimmy Cullen. The raffle winners on the night were; Michael Kehoe, Maureen Eustace, John Joe Murphy and Joan Kehoe. The cards continue every Saturday night at 8.30 p.m. Your support would be greatly appreciate­d.

LOTTO

There was no jackpot winner in the Tintern lotto draw last week. Six people matched three numbers with each receiving €35. They were; Fr Seán Laffan, c/o J Flynn. Seán Parker, Campile. Fr Wm Byrne, Ballyculla­ne. Anette Molloy, Kinnagh. Annie Walsh, Ballyculla­ne and Marie and Niall Molloy, Kinnagh. The numbers drawn were 1, 7, 9 and 11. Next week’s jackpot will be €3,950 and next week’s matchthree winners will share €200. Tickets on sale in all local shops and from committee members.

RUNNING/WALKING GROUP

Runners, walkers and joggers are all welcome to come to the walking track at the Tintern Complex in Ballyculla­ne on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 7.30 p.m. The track is lit up and is a super facility there to be used day or night.

Last year’s leader from RTE’s Operation Transforma­tion, Mairead Redmond, is the driving force behind this initiative. Mairead would love to see as many as possible join her at the Complex.
