WINTER WELLNESS CLASSES

SWWFRC can offer you and a friend six free sessions with a qualified Profession­al Health and Wellness Coach. These classes will start on Wednesday, February 7, and run for six weeks. Times 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. or 6.30 p.m. to 9.30 p.m. Classes are free Call SWWFRC Reception (051 389418) to book a place. Places are limited max 10 per session.

ACTIVE RETIREMENT

Next monthly meeting on Monday, February 12, in St Louis Day Care, starting at 2.15 p.m. Come along for a chat with new and old friends over a cup of tea and a bun. New members welcome.

BLUEBELL CAFÉ

The Bluebell Café, St Louis Day Care Centre will be open on Wednesday, February 3, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. for older people, their families and carers who are coping with memory loss. All are welcome to come in and enjoy a cup of tea and chat with others in similar situation and obtain informatio­n.

HORTICULTU­RAL SOCIETY

The Ramsgrange Horticultu­ral Society Christmas Raffle results are Chrissie Cheevers second prize Eddie Rowe, third Peggy Glennon, fourth Antoinnett­e Colfer, fifth Peggy Glennon, sixth Mary Rowe, seventh Joe Devine. A great night was had by all who attended the Christmas party night in the Strand tavern.

The AGM will be held in the Strand Tavern on Wednesday, February 7, at midday. All welcome to come along.

CAMPILE BINGO

There is a weekly game of bingo being held in Campile Hall every Monday night at 8.30 p.m. in aid of the ongoing developmen­t of the hall, with prize money of €1,250 approximat­ely being paid out each night with a rolling in house lotto and Snowball also being played each night. We welcome each and every one senior citizens, young and children alike to try it and enjoy a great night out and win some money into the bargain.

CAMPILE STUDY GROUP

Campile Hall Parents Supervised study group is going well so far but we still have some places available if anyone else is interested in joining. This study group is the perfect opportunit­y to get homework or study done without any of the usual home distractio­ns three evenings a week here in Campile Hall.

It is open to anyone in third, fifth or sixth years that might be interested in joining, study is on Monday, Wednesday and Friday evenings from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at a cost of €20 per month to book in or to make inquiries contact Nicholas at 087 9418661 or Campile hall at 087 2183300.
