CHORAL CONCERT

New Ross Singers are having difficulty with their rehearsals at the moment because of the snow, but we will be performing ‘The Creation’ by Franz Joseph Haydn in the Church of the Assumption, Rosbercon, New Ross on Sunday, March 11, at 8 p.m.

Our soloists will be Deirdre Moynihan (soprano), Ryan Morgan (tenor)=A0 and Brendan Collins (baritone). The 20 piece orchestra will be Musici Ireland and we will be joined by choristers from the West Cork Choral Singers=A0 who sang it in Skibbereen last October when they were joined by members of New Ross Singers. All will be conducted by Mrs Connie Tantrum.

A great deal of hard work has gone into perfecting ‘The Creation’ and bringing it to performance level, so, when choir, soloists and orchestra come together on Sunday, March 11, it will be an unforgettable evening – one not to missed. Tickets are €15 and will be available at the door.
