Eir launches tech friendly Tuesdays

-

EIR has introduced a new support service in its Main Street, Wexford store where you can pop in and ask all those questions about how to get the best from your mobile device. This new initiative is called Tech-Friendly Tuesdays and is also available in 11 other eir stores across the country.

Tech-Friendly Tuesdays is aimed at those who are less digitally apt and older people who need help with their mobile devices and navigating IT.

If you need a hand setting up your new phone, connecting to WiFi, downloading apps or chatting to family and friends on online, eir’s retail agents can help. Tech-Friendly Tuesdays customers get dedicated oneto-one support for handy tips, support and tricks to get the most out of their devices.

‘We want everyone to get the best from their mobile devices. Whether that’s downloading apps, taking and saving photos, video calling loved ones across the world, or getting to grips with email and social media,’ said Michelle Toner, Head of Corporate Social Responsibility.

‘Learning how to do these things can take time to master and that is why we are rolling out Tech Friendly Tuesdays. It is dedicated in-store time for our Wexford customers to ask questions and learn from our tech experts during a one-to-one appointment.’ Anyone interested can make an appointment between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. by calling the Lower Main Street store on 053) 912 4434 or by dropping in. eir staff can help with a number of common issues including; using Wifi, using your phone’s camera, downloading useful apps and social media on your mobile, setting up a new phone, troubleshooting technical issues and digital self-help (using My eir and online help) and more.
