Many train especially for the event including the three Wexford Leaders Dick Walsh, Anastasia Cash and Cormac McManus This year sees the biggest ever entry taking part with 1,900 competitors, the race sold out months in advance due to the popularity of the trilogy collectors medal. ‘ There was unprecedented demand this year for our 10th anniversary’ said Eoin Ryan. Next year they hope to break the 2,000 entry barrier,’ he said.
