Drunk in public

PHILIP WALSH of 86 Mount Carmel, New Ross incurred a €100 fine on conviction for a public order offence.

The 28-year-old defendant was not at the District Court sitting in Wexford to deal with the public intoxication summons.

Garda Eoin Maher told how he encountered Walsh who was in a drunken state at Pearse Park in Marshmeadows on July 1 last year.
