FIRST RESPONDERS
Bannow Community First Responders will be holding a church gate collection at all Masses on Easter weekend for the ongoing upkeep, training and upskilling of our volunteers. Your support is greatly appreciated.
GAELIC4GIRLS
Bannow-Ballymitty Ladies’ Gaelic Football club are hosting an exciting new programme called Gaelic4Girls which starts on Thursday, April 12, from 6.30 p.m. to 7.30 p.m. at the football pitch for eight weeks.
It is open to all girls aged between 8 and 12 years who are not registered with a Ladies’ Gaelic Football team. It introduces girls to football in a fun environment and all participants will get a G4G T-shirt and certificate on completion. Girls will be encouraged to register with our Ladies’ Football club, and those that do will be integrated into the existing teams. A Mini Blitz will also be held with another Gaelic4Girls site after the eight weeks and this is a major highlight of the programme.

Monster Bingo – Monster Bingo is on Easter Sunday, April 1, at 3 p.m. in Ballymitty Hall. €1,500 in prizes including Special page; €50 one line, €100 for two lines and €150 full house. Raffle and lots of prizes. Tea and sandwiches served.
EASTER EGG HUNT
The annual Easter Egg Hunt will take place after Mass on Easter Sunday, starting at Ballymitty Hall at 11 a.m. Easter treats for everyone so HOP on over.
DANCING
Dancing continues in Tír na nÓg every Thursday night from 9 p.m. in aid of Ballymitty handball club with music this Thursday, March 29, by Tom Power the Latchico Man from Westmeath.
Note bigger dance bands appearing on the last Thursday of every month. Adm €7 all welcome refreshments served.
TABLE QUIZ
There is a table quiz in aid of Little Sea Musical Society on Tuesday, March 27, in Tír na nÓg, Wellington-bridge at 8.30 p.m. €10 per person; €7 for children. Refreshments will be served. Please support this local cause.
