WELL PLAYED WALTER

Tullogher-Rosbercon clubman, Walter Walsh, kept up his rich vein of form with another sterling display in the National League quarter final against Offaly in Tullamore where the ‘Cats’ got a hard battle of it before emerging victors by a two-point margin. Always in the thick of the action Walter scored four great points and with TJ Reid and Cillian Buckley he was instrumental in pushing Kilkenny to a hardfought win. Next up in the semi-final Kilkenny play the winners of the Wexford/Galway game the result of which will be known before these notes appear.
