PADDY’S PHOTO EXHIBITION SHOWS NEW ROSS OVER THE YEARS
AN exhibition of photographs by Paddy Delaney called ‘Moments in Time’ is being held in New Ross this April.
This unique exhibition of images taken by Paddy provides a rare window into the lives of New Ross characters and the town down through the years.
It has been organised in association with New Ross & District Chamber of Commerce and Browne’s Photography.
Coinciding with the Chamber’s 40th Anniversary year, the exhibition will showcase a collection of Paddy’s work during his tenure as photographer for the New Ross Standard and will reflect on some of the great events, characters and milestones of New Ross & District through the years.
Speaking on behalf of New Ross & District Chamber, Margaret Goldsmith, said: ‘ We are delighted to collaborate with Paddy for what promises to be a very special event celebrating town and district. We are encouraging young and old to come out and enjoy this beautiful display.’
The exhibition is free to visit. Moments in Time’ opens to the public on Wednesday, April 4 and will run in the following locations: The Tholsel on Quay Street from Wednesday, April 4, to Saturday, April 7, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. and from Monday, April 9, to Friday, April 13, at 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and at New Ross Library
from Monday, April 16, to Friday, April 20 during normal library hours.
