PADDY’S PHOTO EXHIBITION SHOWS NEW ROSS OVER THE YEARS

AN exhibition of photograph­s by Paddy Delaney called ‘Moments in Time’ is being held in New Ross this April.

This unique exhibition of images taken by Paddy provides a rare window into the lives of New Ross characters and the town down through the years.

It has been organised in associatio­n with New Ross & District Chamber of Commerce and Browne’s Photograph­y.

Coinciding with the Chamber’s 40th Anniversar­y year, the exhibition will showcase a collection of Paddy’s work during his tenure as photograph­er for the New Ross Standard and will reflect on some of the great events, characters and milestones of New Ross & District through the years.

Speaking on behalf of New Ross & District Chamber, Margaret Goldsmith, said: ‘ We are delighted to collaborat­e with Paddy for what promises to be a very special event celebratin­g town and district. We are encouragin­g young and old to come out and enjoy this beautiful display.’

The exhibition is free to visit. Moments in Time’ opens to the public on Wednesday, April 4 and will run in the following locations: The Tholsel on Quay Street from Wednesday, April 4, to Saturday, April 7, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. and from Monday, April 9, to Friday, April 13, at 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and at New Ross Library

from Monday, April 16, to Friday, April 20 during normal library hours.
