The judges will score each application on multiple criteria and the winners and runners-up will be selected across 18 different categories with the winner of the prestigious Overall County Wexford Business of the Year Award chosen from the winners of each award category.
The indepth selection process will be independently judged and based on predetermined criteria and the judging panel will consist of two judges for each category, with one representative from each category sponsor and the second being an expert in their field, including representatives from Diagio, IDA, Small Firms Association, National Standards Association, Bord Bia, IT Carlow ESB Ireland, WIT and IADT.
The 2018 shortlist includes some names that have featured in the Business Awards before, including some past winners. All the categories attracted a high standard and volume of entries.
