MUSICAL SOCIETY CONCERT

The Little Sea Musical Society in association with the Kiltra School of music concert orchestra and guests present the ‘Rythm Of the Sea’ concert in Carrig Church on Friday, May 4, and in St Mary’s Hall Fethard – on – sea on Saturday, May 12. Tickets on sale in Kiltra school of music, Breda’s corner shop Carrig, Costcutters Wellingtonbridge and Fethard post office.

LOTTO

Congratulations to Pat Conway, Coolroe on matching all four numbers in the Tintern lotto draw last week to claim the jackpot of €6,050. The numbers drawn were 6, 14, 17 and 28. Next week’s jackpot is €2,000 and next week’s match-three winners will share €400. Tickets on sale in all lcal shops and from committee members.

CARDS

Seán Diskin, Michael Culleton and Charlie Collins were the winners of the cards in St Leonards hall last week. Brendan Colfer, Alice Gaffney and Larry Larkin took second prize. Two teams shared third prize. They were; Joan Fardy, Maureen Eustace, Michael Murphy and Nick Doyle, Johnny Flynn and Seán Colfer. The last game draw winners were Jack Waters, Michael Kehoe and Seán O’Grady. The raffle winners were Michael Kehoe, Jamesey Wallace, Jack Waters and Joan Kehoe/The cards continue every Saturday night at 8.30 p.m.

MUSIC EXTRAVAGANZA

A Music Extravaganza takes place at Stafford’s of Tulllicanna on Sunday, May 6, with music from 4 p.m. till late. This is a night not to be missed as there are a number of bands performing on the night with all proceeds from this unique event going to the Hope Cancer Support Centre, Enniscorthy.
