The group received QQI certificates for courses in Rehabilitation Training; Office Administration; Employer-based Training; and Retail Sales.
The courses ranged from Level 3 to 5 and took the learners between one and two years depending on the subject.
The training courses are funded through the HSE and Waterford and Wexford Education and Training Board, and work on a continuous intake basis, meaning learners can join up with courses at any time of the year.
Guests on the night included Cllr Ger Carthy, deputising for the mayor, Cllr Jim Moore; Eamonn McGettigan, Community Services Manager of the WWETB; and Cllr Frank Staples, who was guest of honour.
