ST JAMES’ GAA LOTTO

There was no winner of the €4,400 jackpot in the draw last Tuesday. The winning numbers were 10, 25, 27 and 30. St James Club had one match-three winner: Mary Rose Ryan, Boderan, who won €50. Jackpot for the next lotto draw on May 1 will be €4,700. Lotto tickets are available from committee members and local shops and pubs.

ALZHEIMER’S TEA DAY

St Louis Day Care Centre are hosting their annual Alzheimer’s Tea Day on Thursday, May 3, from 9.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. All proceeds go to the Alzheimer Society Of Ireland. Please Drop in and support this worthy cause.

FAMILY FUN RUN/WALK

St James GAA Club is having a Family Fun Run/Walk on May 13, at 2 p.m. There will be a 6km option, that runs down Clonsharragh and a 3km option that is all within the Dunbrody grounds. The entry fee is €10 for over 16; €5 for 16 and under; €25 for a family of four. Refreshments will be served after the run. Hope to see you there.

5K WALK/RUN

The 5K Sponsored Walk/Run takes place in JFK Memorial Park and Arboretum on Sunday, May 20, at 10.30 a.m. We hope to raise funds for the on-going upkeep of the St Louis Day Care Centre. Registration on the day or at gofundme.com/5k-sponsoredwalkrun. Entry fee €10. Children under-16 free.

CHARITY ROAD WALK

Hike to the Hook Charity Road Walk will be held on Saturday, May 5 (500 people walking). The route is from Tintern Abbey, through Fethard-on-Sea, round Carnivan through to Kelly’s Cross, up past Templetown Church and then straight on to the Hook Lighthouse. Starting at 9 a.m. and all walkers are expected to be at the Hook Light House by 2 p.m.

DOUBLE BINGO NIGHT

There will be a Special Double Bingo Night in Campile Hall on Bank holiday Monday night May 7, at which prize money for 9 of the 11 games will be doubled on the night which is over €2,100 in total. This is all for the normal admission price of double book €10, single book €7 and small book €3. All support would be very much appreciated.
