FOUR WEXFORD PROPERTIES SELL IN ONLINE AUCTION
FOUR properties were up for grabs at a BidX1 auction in April.
The auction which featured a mix of residential and commercial properties took place across two days. In total over 250 properties went under the hammer over the course of the two days.
Unit 3 Crescent Mall, Henrietta Street, in Wexford town had a guide price of €50,000 but failed to sell on the day. The property which is currently leased to REA MCCormack Corish was described as an office investment. The property is situated within a wider mixed use development arranged over ground and one upper floor according to the description.
A parcel of land at Ross Road in Enniscorthy sold for €37,000, €7,000 over its guide price of €30,000.
The land which was 0.3 acres is an irregular shaped site and is zoned existing residential. It was in vacant possession and is located on the southern side on Ross Road, close to its junction with Gort Na Greine.
Bidding opened at
€30,000 and there were eight bids on it in total by two separate bidders with the land selling for a final price of €37,000.
A three bed detached house in Hookless Village, Fethard- On-Sea which was in vacant possession sold after auction. The property which had a guide price of €85,000 attracted the attention of two bidders who made 12 bids between then. The property sold for €95,000.
The final property up for grabs was a four bedroom house in Streamstown, Tagoat. It had a reserve of €80,000 and attracted one bid for this price before being sold. The house has a garden to the rear and off street parking.
