Winners of the cards in St Leonards hall last week were; Pat Murray, Jamesey Wallace and Peter Stafford. Joint second were. Nick Doyle, Johnny Flynn, Seán Colfer and Dave Walsh, Mae Dunning and James McDonald. The last game draw went to; Tom Culleton, Pat Whelan and John Reville. The raffle winners on the night were; Joan Kehoe, Tom Culleton, John Joe Murphy and John Reville. The cards continue every Saturday night at 8.30 p.m.

PLANT SALE

Ballycullane Veggie Growers are having their annual plant sale in Ballycullane Parish Hall on Saturday, May 12, at 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Fruit, flowers and vegetable plants will be on sale and tea served. The Ballycullane Veggie Growers, grow organic vegetables in a community plot. If you are interested in joining the group, come along any Tuesday evening at 7 p.m. or ring Anne at 087 6788652 for more details.

There was no jackpot winner last week in the Tintern lotto draw. Six people matched three numbers and each received €35. They were; Patrick Walsh, Milltown, Butcher Guys, c/o Kay Holden, Eithne Hobbs, c/o PO Adam Kelly, c/o, A Browne, Margaret Cullen, c/o J Flynn and Mary Hughes, Aclamon. Next week’s jackpot is €2,300 and next week’s match-three winners will share €200. Tickets on sale in all local shops and from committee members.
