Pleaded guilty to drug possession

-

PATRICK KEHOE (37) of 41 Cois na Mara, Rosslare Strand was put under probation supervision after admitting drugs possession.

He pleaded guilty to having €100 worth of zanex tablets without prescription for supply to others.

Kehoe was described by solicitor Nigel Allen as a father of three, the oldest child being 13 years of age.

Wexford District Court also heard that the accused man was on a methadone programme, and that the zanex was for distribution to friends and not for selling.

Judge John Cheatle accepted that a relatively small amount of the drug was involved as he put the defendant on probation for a year. FOUR talented Wexford students have been presented with top awards in this year’s 64th Texaco Children’s Art Competition.

The four all scored top marks in the prestigious art competition.
