STRICTLY CLUB DANCING

Gusserane GAA Club have resurrected the popular Strictly Club Dancing fundraiser this year once again.

Tickets are currently on sale through the club for the big night which takes place in the Tintern Complex on Saturday, June 16. For more information contact Lorraine at 086 1743117.

CARDS

Winners in the hall last week were Nicholas Doyle, Mick Reville and Willie Kehoe. Second went to Brendan Colfer, Tom Culleton and Billy Shannon. Third were Pat Ryan, Tom Corcoran and Watty Byrne. The last game draw went to Willie White, Kieran Keating and Siobhán Doyle. Raffle winners were Pat Murray, John Sinnott, David Murphy and Jamesie Wallace.

MAI LARKIN

Dunmain lost one of its oldest residents last week when Mai Larkin passed away in her own home.

Predeceased a number of years ago by her husband, Martin, Mai is survived by her son Matt. Sincere sympathy is extended to Matt and to Mai’s many close neighbours, friends and relations. Her funeral took place in Gusserane last Friday.
