The junior hurlers qualified to meet Ferns at home in the league semi-final on July 7/8 after defeating Clongeen 1-9 to 1-7 in Round five. The under-20 hurlers received a walkover from Glynn-Barntown.

DUNBRODY ABBEY MASS

There will be a Mass in Dunbrody Abbey on Sunday next, July 8, at 10.30 a.m. (weather permitting). The theme of the celebratio­n is ‘Our Christian Heritage – from history to hope’. Parking will be in the Dunbrody visitor centre across the road from the Abbey. There will be limited parking in the Abbey grounds for people with limited mobility only please. Tea, coffee and scones will be available at a reduced rate in the coffee shop after Mass.

Senior citizens Concern CLG is hosting a tea or coffee morning in St Louis Day Care Centre, Ramsgrange, from 9 a.m. to midday on Sunday, July 22. All are welcome and your support is greatly appreciate­d.
