Motorist is fined on the double

ROBERT POWER (42) of 1 Wexford Street, New Ross was fined on the double for motoring offences dealt with at the District Court sitting in Wexford.

He was summonsed for speeding at 87 km/h in the 50 km/h zone at Bosheen Road in New Ross in June of last year.

On that occasion he was driving without a licence.

Fines of €200 each, a total of €400, were handed down by Judge Kevin Staunton with four months allowed for payment.
