COMMUNITY GARDEN PARTY

The fifth annual Garden Party will take place in Castlebrid­ge Community Garden from 2 p.m. till around 5 p.m. The Castlebrid­ge Gospel Choir will perform a variety of summer afternoon favourites. There will be tea and coffeesava­ilable all afternoon with your choice of homemade cakes and pastries. There will be plenty for the kids too including a bouncy castle and other games. Admission is free. All are welcome to come and relax in beautiful surroundin­gs and hear some great music.

CRAANFORD VINTAGE RALLY AND FIELD DAY.

The Craanford Vintage Rally and field day will take place at 1.30 p.m. There will be the Best Six Homemade Cupcakes competitio­n; dog show; wonderful vintage machinery display; bottle stall; moster raffle; bric-à-brac; and strawberri­es and cream. It is a great family day out for everyone. Also, the Ann Whitty Memorial Bake Off will be held at the Vintage Rally and field day. Now in it’s second year, the Bake Off will allow everyone to participat­e while helping to raise funds for the parish Ann loved.

JACK AND JILL CYCLE

JOAN AND FRIENDS COFFEE MORNING

Joan Kavanagh and friends are holding a coffee morning in the Crosses, Kilmuckrid­ge, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., in aid of ‘Touched by Suicide’. Admission is only €3 and there will be door prizes and a raffle.

MID-SUMMER BAZAAR IN FETHARD

There will be a Mid-summer Bazaar in aid of St Mogue’s Church, Fethardon-Sea, at the Old Abbey Garden Centre on from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Those interested in booking a stand please contact Claire at 087 7759130.

CRAANFORD VINTAGE RALLY AND FIELD DAY.

Craanford’s vintage rally and field day returns again this year with the annual dog show also. Tickets for the big raffle will be sold over the next few weeks and we thank you for any support you can give. Any donations for bric-à-brac and bottle stall can also be handed into the hall from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, July 14, or after 6 p.m. Mass on Saturday evening.
