BARN DANCE

Fethard St Mogue’s GAA Club are holding a barn dance on Sunday, August 5, in Nunan’s Farm on the Ralph Road. Music by the Sinarios from 9 p.m. followed by Divine Invention. Tickets cost €10 are available from club members.

MID-SUMMER BAZAAR

There will be a Mid-summer Bazaar in aid of St Mogue’s Church at the Old Abbey Garden Centre, on Sunday, July 15, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

TEA/COFFEE MORNING

Senior citizens Concern CLG is hosting a tea or coffee morning in St Louis Day Care Centre, Ramsgrange, from 9 a.m. to midday on Sunday, July 22. All are welcome and your support is greatly appreciate­d.

PARISH PATRON

The patron will take place on August 3 at 7.30 p.m. in Poulfur with blessing of the grave following Mass.

COUNTRY MARKET

Now in our 22nd year, market continues every Saturday in St Mary’s Hall, Fethard-on-Sea from 10.30 a.m. to midday supplying fresh vegetables, salad, herbs, plants, baking, chocolates, crafts, jewellery, prints and more.

WEEKLY LOTTO

There was no winner of last week’s Club lotto jackpot of €5,900 so next week’s jackpot stands at €6,000. The numbers drawn were 8, 12, 16 and 22. The club had three Luck Dip winners, Shiela Barden, Maura Foley and Clodagh Kehoe, who won €30 each.

SPLIT-THE-POT

Congratula­tions to Darren O’Grady, who was Saltmills and St Kearns Community Groups split-the-pot winner of €129 for April. Envelopes are available to purchase in Vine Cottage, Whelan’s Chipper and Fish Shop and shop in St Leonards. Next draw will take place on May 28.

FETHARD SPLIT-THE-POT

Congratula­tions to who Martin Power won €78 in this week’s split-the-pot (July 3 18). Envelopes for split-the-pot are available in the post office, Dillon’s, The Wheelhouse, Droopy’s, Molloy’s, Neville’s and the Tourist Office. Draw takes place every Tuesday.

THE BLUEBELL CAFÉ

The Bluebell Café takes place on the first Wednesday of every month from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. in ‘The Tea Room’ at St Louis Day Care Centre, Ramsgrange. The Bluebell Café is open to people with dementia, their partners, carers, families and friends. You have an opportunit­y to meet others with similar experience­s, enjoy a cup of tea and a chat and speak with health and social care profession­als and other experience­d volunteers.
