PATRON SUNDAY

The annual patron takes place in all of the cemeteries in Newbawn on this Sunday evening, July 15. Prayers will be recited and graves will be visited and blessed in Faree cemetery at 6.30 p.m. in the old cemetery at Newbawn (The Clorane) and in Courthoyle cemetery at 7 p.m. and in the new cemetery at Newbawn at 7.45 p.m. Graves will be suitably decorated for the occasion.

SPORTS GROUND BBQ

The members of Newbawn Community Sports ground and walking track are organising a Barbecue in the car park of Foleys pub for after the patron on Sunday evening. Plenty of good grub and exciting fun for everyone. So why not come along and enjoy.
