Several crashes reported

GARDAÍ and emergency personnel attended the scene of several accidents across the district over the past few days.

The Duncannon Line was closed off following an accident in Saltmills on the weekend when a vehicle ended up in a ditch. A woman in her 70s and a man in his early 20s were taken to Wexford General Hospital as a precaution.

An accident occurred at Knockmullen on Saturday when a car leaving the Hospital Road was in a collision with a vehicle on the N25, while another crash was reported at Marshmeadows on the same day.

A minor accident occurred at Ballyverogue, New Ross, while a vehicle wa discovered on fire at Camblin also.
