Did not produce driving licence

FAILURE to produce his driving licence after he was involved in collision led to a €250 fine for Gary Gilchrist of 21 Assumption Terrace in New Ross.

The matter dealt with at the District Court arose after the accident at Robert Street on July 31 last year was reported by the other driver involved – Mark Furlong from Bosheen.

Gilchrist was able to show that he had valid insurance but the gardaí were never shown a valid licence.
