Additions to council archive

Two significant collections were acquired by Wexford County Council’s Library Service archive in June. The business archive of Celtic Linen (19202921) including financial material, personnel records, correspondence and photographs were acquired, along with two framed addresses to Lorenzo Nickson Nunn, a barrister. One came from one of his tenants on the occasion of his taking over the estates of St Margaret’s and Hillcastle and the other from the people of Gorey and North Wexford on his retirement from public life in 1873.
