SOUTH EAST PLEIN AIR – ART IN THE OPEN

Wexford’s Art In the Open brings artists from all over to the county for Europe’s largest annual plein air painting festival. Demonstrations, workshops, master classes, paint-outs will take place all around the county.

CAROREIGH FIELD DAY

The 50th Caroreigh field day will kick off at 1.30 p.m. with a fancy dress and vintage parade led by the New Ross and District Pipe Band. All the usual stalls will be up and running, some have been there for the 50 years. There will be a Tug o War competition made of teams from areas in the half parish. The usual Grand Draw will be held, tickets should be with parishioners by now.

MARSHALS TOWN CASTLEDOCK RE LL PARISH NIGHT

The annual parish night takes place at the Riverside Park Hotel on Sunday, July 29, from 9 p.m. Music will be provided by Shawn Cuddy and his band with dancing from 9.30 p.m. Tickets are now available for €10 and there will be a door prize and raffle on the night with all proceeds going towards parish funds.
