Cairde Loch Garman set for a fundraising night at the dogs

WEXFORD Manager Davy Fitzgerald and senior hurlers Diarmuid O’Keeffe and Aidan Nolan took some time out from preparations for their All-Ireland quarter final against Clare at Innovate Wexford Park last week to officially launch the annual Wexford Supporters Race Night at Enniscorthy Dog Track. This year’s event will take place on Thursday, August 16, and promises to be a great night out for the whole family.

Now under the new title of Cairde Loch Garman, the popular event also boasts a new sponsor this year in the form of John Molloy Steel Recycling Ltd. County Chairman Derek Kent welcomed Molloy Steel on board thanking them for their generous sponsorship and looked forward to a long and successful partnership.

He also thanked Chairman of the Race Night Committee Jim Byrne and all those involved with the event saying that it is always a most well attended evening and an excellent occasion for all the family to enjoy.

Jim said that his team are working extremely hard on this year’s event and pointed out that it was a vital fundraiser for Wexford GAA. Tickets for the night are priced at €10 for which you get a great evening of racing, under-age competitions, photo opportunities with your favourite Wexford players and much, much more.
