GER DEVEREUX MEMORIAL RUN AND WALK

The annual Ger Devereux Memorial Run and Walk will take place on September 9, meeting at Bellefield GAA Complex in Enniscorth­y. Registrati­on will take place from 10 a.m. with the walk getting started at 11 a.m. Funds raised last year were used to fund four defibrilla­tors and train over 30 people in AED in the Enniscorth­y area and it is hoped that this year this work can be continued with the help of Enniscorth­y Red Cross. COOLGREANY VINTAGE DAY

The first Vintage Day will be held in Coolgreany with vintage cars and tractors of all years on exhibit. The plan is to have auto jumble stalls and vintage dress. Entertainm­ent on the field will be provided by Stacey Breen with her lovely versions of old Country and Western Music. All exhibits and Trade Stands must be on the field by midday, and all vehicles must have their own insurance. CAIM VINTAGE DAY

Caim Vintage Club is holding its annual vintage day at Rackards, Caim. Proceeds this year are in aid of Wexford Hospice Homecare, Caim parish outing and the vintage club. Donations of bric-à-brac, bottles and baking for the day would be greatly appreciate­d.
