SPEED RAMPS

Cllr Peter ‘Chap’ Cleere has welcomed the recent speed ramps that have been put in place in Brandon Crescent and Tobair Bride. These safety measures should make the area safer for all residents and users. Chap thanked Kilkenny County Council for a great job well done.

LOTTO

The numbers drawn were 4, 28, 31 and 32, and there was no winner. Next week’s lotto jackpot stands at €9,800. ULLARD MASS

The Ullard Mass Committee would like to thank all who helped for the recent annual Mass at St Fiacre’s church ruins and cemetery at Ullard. To all that cleaned the graves and the Kilkenny County Council, who cut the grass verges on the road sides.

BOOK FESTIVAL

The Town of Books Festival takes place on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, August 24, to August 26 this year.
