FUNDRAISER

A fundraiser for childhood cancer awareness will be held on the Green, Inistioge on Saturday, September 15, from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. It will include lighting the beautiful 10 arch bridge in golden light. There will also be an open stage, live music and a DJ, face painting, bouncy castle, a canoe race and much more. It will be fun for all the family while raising awareness and some funds for a wonderful cause.

PARENT/BABY/TODDLER

The parent and baby/toddler group returns on September 11 to Cois Abhainn from 10 a.m. to midday New members are welcome.

FAMILY MOVIE AFTERNOON

A family movie afternoon will be held in Cois Abhainn on Saturday, September 8, This is being held in aid of Jigsaw, young peoples mental health services. Doors at 2.30 p.m. with the movie starting at 3 p.m. Children are welcome to bring their Teddy’s, a blanket and a pillow. Entry is €3 or €4 to include a small popcorn and a drink.

QUIZ NIGHT FUNDRAISER

A children and young persons table quiz will be held in Cois Abhainn on Thursday, September 13, at 7 p.m. The cost is €20 per team of four. The evening is intended to raise funds for Jigsaw, young peoples mental health service. Adult teams are also welcome to take part. It promises to be an evening of great fun.
