Joint first in the cards in St Leonards hall last Saturday night were; Dave Walsh, James McDonald, Michael Reville and John Joe Murphy, Jimmy Cullen and Eddie McDonald. Joint second were; Jack Waters, Seán O’Grady, Michael Kehoe and Aidan Colfer, Carmel Kehoe and Johnny Colfer. Last game draw winners were, David Murphy, Georgie Foley and Siobhán Doyle. The raffle winners on the night were, Aidan Colfer, John Reville, Jimmy Cullen and James McDonald. The cards continue every Saturday night at 8.30 p.m. Sharp.

LOTTO

There was no jackpot winner in the Tintern lotto draw last week. Maureen Furlong, Yoletown was the only match-three winner and she received €400. The numbers drawn were, 3, 13, 16, 20. Next week’s jackpot is €3,200 and next week’s match-three winners will share €200. Tickets on sale in all local shops and pubs and from committee members.

TRACTOR RUN

St Kearns Rowing Club in conjunction with Saltmills/St Kearns community group are having a monster tractor/vintage vehicle run on Sunday, September 30. Registration at Vine Cottage bar Saltmills at 10 a.m. and start at 11 a.m. €20 per vehicle. The run will take in the beautiful Hook Peninsula with a stop at Templars Inn and return to Saltmills for refreshments at Colclough Hall and Vine Cottage Bar.
