Chess Club started up again last Monday, September 24 – Open to all from first class up. We look forward to seeing our seasoned players and new members are always welcome. Cost €1 per week: this money goes towards maintaining the chess equipment, paying the annual membership fee for chesskid.com subsidising competition fees and chess sets. We have a few chess sets available for any beginners at subsidised price €3 each. There is a weekly game of bingo being held in Campile Hall every Monday night at 8.30 p.m. in aid of the ongoing development of the hall, with prize money of €1,250 approximately being paid out each night with a rolling in house lotto and Snowball also being played each night.
