Two teams finished on level terms to share the prize money at the progressive 45 card game in St Leonards hall last week. They were; Michael White, Kitty Roche, Joan Kehoe and Billy Shannon, Martin Stafford and Liam Cooley. Third prize went to, Michael Murphy, Joan Fardy and Maureen Eustace. The last game draw winners were Dave Walsh, James McDonald and Mae Dunning. The raffle winners on the night were; Pat Murray, Seán O’Grady, Brendan Colfer and Aidan Colfer. The cards continue every Saturday night at 8.30 p.m. Your support would be greatly appreciated.
LOTTO
There was no jackpot winner in the Tintern lotto draw last week. Three people matched three numbers and each received €70. They were; Mitch Cullen, Yoletown. Claire Twomey, Yoletown and Pat Whelan, c/o J Flynn. The numbers drawn were 2, 7, 12 and 16. Next week’s jackpot is €3,500 and next week’s match-three winners will share €200. Tickets on sale in all local shops and pubs and from committee members.
MONTHLY ROSARY
The Monthly Rosary will be recited at the Grotto in Grantstown on Saturday next, October 13, at 2 p.m. All are welcome to come along.
ART CLASSES
Adult Art Classes commence in Ramsgrange Community School tomorrow night Wednesday, October 10, at 7.30 p.m. for eight weeks. Registration and payment accepted on the first night. Cost €90. Concessions available for OAPs.
