THE fifth annual Hook peninsula photography competition was opened in the Dunbrody Visitor Centre on Thursday with 77 entrants over four categories, namely Cultural Heritage, Off the Grid, Fleeting Moments and Summer Nights.

The exhibition will be on display for two weeks at the Dunbrody Visitor Centre, New Ross.

It features visuals of The Hook Peninsula through the lenses of some very talented photographers. There are numerous beautiful aspects that have been captured and found on the Hook Peninsula. Category prize winners were awarded to Todor Tivel, Pat Somers, Isabel Auld and Marie Hayes.

An online competition took place for members of the public to vote for their favourite photograph out of all entrants a prize was given to one of the voters who was Winnie O’Keeffe.
