DANCING AT CAMROSS

The very popular T-Bone Country will will have you all dancing the night away at the November dance which will be held on Friday, November 2. Dancing will start at the new time of 9.30 p.m. for the winter months till late. Adm. €10 including the tea.

KENPO KARATE/ SELF DEFENCE

Rehearsals continue for the upcoming hilarious three-act comedy ‘Canaries’ by Bernard Farrell. Director, Michael Stafford is doing a great job, organising his 12 strong cast. Performanc­es will be as follows: Friday, November 30, and Sunday, December 2 – Camross Hall. Wednesday and Thursday, December 12, and 13 – Wexford Arts Centre

Taghmon Action Group (TAG) presents bingo every Tuesday night in the TAG premises at 8 p.m. Also split-the-pot on the night. Tea and coffee available. Doors open at 7.30 p.m.

ATHLETIC CLUB NEWS

The county cross county was on recently in Kennedy Park. We had six athletes competing Emma Crane was seventh and Kayleigh Butler (under-nine) was fourth. Grainne Kelly under-11, Órla Kelly under-13. Joseph Hanlon under-19 was third and Angela Butler ran as our only senior lady competing. Congratula­tions and very well done to our athletes.

TEA PARTY

A tea party will be held in GAA Complex on Sunday, November 4, at 7 p.m. in aid of St Fintan’s Church Taghmon Restoratio­n Fund. Tickets available at €10 each from Fr Gorman or any member of committee.
