AUTHOR Tina Callaghan’s debut novel Dark Wood Dark Water has been short-listed for an An Post Teen/Young Adult Book of the Year.

The New Ross writer’s book – which is loosely based on the curse of New Ross by crutched friars – is one of six books short-listed in the category. Tina said she was thrilled to be short-listed for the young adult fiction award and will be attending the awards ceremony which is being held in Dublin on November 27.
