‘EducateTogether’ schoolisproposed

A multi-denominational educational group is considering the possibility of opening a new primary school in Wexford.
Educate Together, a national body which facilitates groups of parents to open multi-denominational schools, named Wexford and Gorey as two towns in which they hope to open new schools.
‘Over the past number of years, we have been contacted by a number of people in all developing towns on the east coast,’ said the body’s chief executive, Paul Rowe.
‘We have opened a school in Wicklow town this year, and one in Waterford the year before last. We are aware of considerable interest in Wexford and down the coast.’
In order for a new school to get off the ground,
