VOL­UN­TEERS NEEDED

At SWWFRC we run projects with a group of core staff, a team of CE work­ers (of which there is al­ways space to join) and a ded­i­cated group of vol­un­teers. We are ask­ing for peo­ple to join us – sim­ply by of­fer­ing their time. A few hours a week can make a huge dif­fer­ence to the ser­vices we can of­fer. Full train­ing (if nec­es­sary) will be given. WE NEED YOU. If you can help, con­tact re­cep­tion for more de­tails. We look for­ward to hav­ing you on board.

FOOD CLOUD

SWWFRC are re­cruit­ing for vol­un­teers to help with our weekly food cloud col­lec­tions. Food cloud at present sup­ports many fam­i­lies within our com­mu­nity. Please con­tact Sharon Kennedy at 051 389418 to ex­press an in­ter­est.

BLOKES WITH CAM­ERAS

Blokes with Cam­eras are back meet­ing in South West Wex­ford Fam­ily Re­source Cen­tre in Rams­grange on Wed­nes­day. Be­gin­ners and ad­vanced pho­tog­ra­phers wel­come, and you don’t need a fancy cam­era to en­joy pho­tog­ra­phy. We will be run­ning a ba­sic photo shop course so you can have more fun with your pho­tos. Make a note, come along and en­joy pho­tog­ra­phy in a re­laxed at­mos­phere. IR­ISH DANC­ING

Ir­ish danc­ing classes con­tinue ev­ery Mon­day 3.30 p.m. to 4.30 p.m. at South West Wex­ford Fam­ily Re­source Cen­tre.

Adult Art Classes have com­menced in Rams­grange Com­mu­nity School on Wed­nes­days at 7.30 p.m., for eight weeks. Reg­is­tra­tion and pay­ment ac­cepted on the first night. Cost €90. Con­ces­sions avail­able for OAPs.

FLOWER AR­RANGE­MENT DEMO

There will be a Flower Ar­range­ment Demon­stra­tion by Lily Bloom Florist in St Louis Day Care Cen­tre, Rams­grange on Thurs­day, Novem­ber 15, at 7.30 p.m. Tick­ets are €10 and can be pur­chased at St Louis Day Care Cen­tre. All pro­ceeds in aid of St Louis Day Care Cen­tre.

Rams­grange Com­mu­nity Mar­ket is on ev­ery Fri­day morn­ing from 9.30 a.m. in Rams­grange Com­mu­nity Hall (op­po­site Cen­tra). Pop in and have a cuppa and a chat and take the op­por­tu­nity to meet and buy from lo­cal food pro­duc­ers and crafters.

A New En­ter­prise Stall is be­ing set up to sup­port lo­cal crafters es­tab­lish and pro­mote their prod­uct and/or new craft/food busi­ness. If you have a prod­uct or prod­ucts that you would like to show­case on this stall con­tact us for fur­ther in­for­ma­tion.

GAA CLUB NEWS

St James GAA are hold­ing their AGM on Novem­ber 17 at 4 p.m. in our club house in Mer­sheen. All ex­ist­ing mem­bers and in­com­ing mem­bers are re­quested to at­tend this im­por­tant meet­ing. Please come along and be an ac­tive mem­ber of your club.

Lotto – There was no win­ner of the €8,600 jack­pot in last Tues­days draw. The win­ning num­bers were 20, 23, 26 and 30. St James Club had no match-three win­ners. Jack­pot for the next lotto draw on Novem­ber 13 will be €8,900. lotto tick­ets are avail­able from com­mit­tee mem­bers and lo­cal shops and pubs. €50 yearly lotto tick­ets are also avail­able from 086 8820773.

CAMPILE BINGO

There is a weekly game of bingo be­ing held in Campile Hall ev­ery Mon­day night at 8.30 p.m. in aid of the on­go­ing devel­op­ment of the hall, with prize money of €1,250 ap­prox­i­mately be­ing paid out each night with a rolling in house lotto and Snow­ball also be­ing played each night. We wel­come each and ev­ery one se­nior ci­ti­zens, young and chil­dren alike to try it and en­joy a great night out and win some money into the bar­gain.
