WOMENS AID 16 DAYS OF ACTION

SWWFRC are supporting this year’s 16 Days of Action Campaign against Domestic Violence. Between now and December 10 we are collecting toiletry items for Wexford Women’s Refuge. Items can be left at reception in the Ramsgrange Centre and we will ensure that they are delivered to the Refuge. We are also holding a coffee morning on Friday, December 7, from 10.30 a.m. in our Community Café. All proceeds raised will be donated to this great cause. Everyone is welcome and your support is greatly appreciate­d.

PENNY BANK TO CLOSE

The volunteers operating the Penny Bank at SWWFRC regret to inform you that, due to increased responsibi­lities with regard to changes in Banking regulation­s we will not be in a position to continue our Penny Bank service in 2019. We would like to take this opportunit­y to thank you all for your understand­ing and support.

BLOKES WITH CAMERAS

Blokes with Cameras are back meeting in South West Wexford Family Resource Centre in Ramsgrange on Wednesday. Beginners and advanced photograph­ers welcome, and you don’t need a fancy camera to enjoy photograph­y.

CHRISTMAS BAKING

St Louis Day Care Centre are holding a Christmas Bakery Fair on Saturday, December 8, between 9 a.m. to midday in the Day Care Centre. CHRISTMAS LIGHTS ROAD RUN

This year’s Christmas Lights Road Run will take place on December 9. Registrati­on at 4 p.m., starting in Campile travelling through villages of Dunmain, Ballyculla­ne, Saltmills, Fethard-onSea Templetown, Ramsgrange, Duncannon and finishing in Arthurstow­n with hot food served compliment­s of the Kings Bay Inn, Arthurstow­n. ACTIVE RETIREMENT

Ramsgrange Community Market is on every Friday morning from 9.30 a.m. in Ramsgrange Community Hall (opposite Centra). Pop in and have a cuppa and a chat and take the opportunit­y to meet and buy from local food producers and crafters.

FETHARD MARKET

Fethard-on-Sea Country Market Christmas Market will be held on Sunday, December 2, 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Come and join us for some Christmas Treats, baking and crafts etc., following by turning on of the Christmas lights and Santa in the village.

ST JAMES GAA LOTTO

There was no winner of the €8,900 jackpot in last Tuesdays draw. The winning numbers were 5, 12, 21 and 25. St James Club had one match-three winner; Paul Barron, Battlestow­n. South West Wexford Heartsave would like to thank all of those that donated to our recent successful fundraisin­g coffee morning and cake sale – we really appreciate the support and hope that you enjoyed the morning also.
