The Little Sea Musical Society in associatio­n with the KSM Concert Orchestra are presenting their ‘Disney Magic and Christmas Classics’ concerts with performanc­es also by the KSM Young Voices. There will be three locations, Carrig-on-Bannow Community Centre – Thursday, December 6. 8 p.m., St Mary’s Hall, Fethard – Friday, December 7. 8 p.m. and Camross Community Hall – Saturday, December 8. 8 p.m.

DANCING AT CAMROSS

Liam Mannering will have you all dancing the night away at the December dance which will be held in Camross Ballroom on Friday December 7, with dancing from 9.30 p.m. to midnight. Admission is €10 including the tea.

CAROREIGH NS

MR COUSINS AND MS KELLY - A fantastic day was had by all in Caroreigh NS on Friday last, as pupils, staff, parents and members of the wider community gathered to say thanks to Ms Kelly and Mr Cousins for all their work over the years and good luck in their new position as school principals in Glenmore NS and Adamstown NS respective­ly. Mass was celebrate in the church to begin with followed by entertainm­ent, refreshmen­ts and presentati­on in the school hall. Many thanks to the parents’ council for their help with this event.

RACKARD LEAGUE – Congratula­tions to the Rackard league boys’ Football team who qualified for the final of Rising Stars Competitio­n following a hard fought 1-5 to 0-3 win over near neighbours Clongeen.

TAG BINGO

All are welcome to join us Tuesday nights in the TAG centre at 8 p.m. Doors open at 7.30 p.m. This week’s winners were jackpot winner Ann Codd €350, 50/50 €62 Louie Roche. Winner of the free books (door prize) was Anne McGee. Well done to all. Next week jackpot €200.

GAA UPDATE

The club will be hosting a race night on Friday, December 7, at the community centre. If you can help with sponsorshi­p or just by supporting the event please talk to any of the clubs officers or players. Any contributi­on or assistance in this regard would be very welcome.

IFA AGM

The AGM of the Camross IFA will be held on Tuesday, November 27, at 8 p.m. in the new school in Caroreigh. Speakers on the night will be JJ Kavanagh (IFA) and Brendan Moore (Crime Prevention Officer). Existing members and new members are welcome to attend.

HISTORY SOCIETY JOURNAL LAUNCH

The Taghmon History Society will launch their 2018 journal in Taghmon Community Centre on Friday, November 30, at 8 p.m. Members may pick up a copy of the journal on the night. The journal will also be on sale for €15. Refreshmen­ts will also be served on the night.
