Enterprise office set to make it happen

-

THE Local Enterprise Office in Wexford will be one of 31 such offices across the country that will be involved in a new national communications live campaign called Making It Happen.

The campaign will be delivered through all media platforms and on social media and the focus of attention will be fixed on case studies examining three stages of business development: Pre-start; Start and Growth.

Commenting in the initiative in a report to members of the local authority the

Chief Executive Officer of the

County Council, Tom Enright, said: ‘We will continue to work with Sarah Bohan in the Centre of Excellence to produce new case studies promoting enterprise in the county.’

The initiative is being run in conjunction with Enterprise Ireland and is aimed at giving budding entrepreneurs the advice, support and help needed to take their business idea from initial concept to start-up.

The pre-start focus could prove very beneficial to people who have the basic idea for a business but are unsure how to get it off the ground.

The work done prior to start-up invariably affects the success or otherwise of many business ideas, however, once the business is up-and-running entrepreneurs need to be aware of how to maximise growth and how to identify potential opportunities to expand their business in a positive direction and that’s where Making It Happen can make all the difference.
