There was no winner of the €10,100 jackpot in last Tuesdays draw. The winning numbers were 3, 5, 9 and 17. St James’ Club had two match-three winners; Breda Connolly, Kilhile and Dick Ward. ACTIVE RETIREMENT

The monthly meeting will be held on, Monday, February 4, in St Louis Day Care Centre, Ramsgrange, starting at 2.15 p.m. Come along for a chat with new and old friends over a cup of tea and a bun.

Just a reminder that yearly membership fees, of €20 per member, are due by the end of February. This yearly fee includes insurance cover and we also subsidise many outings when we can. We are always looking for new members, so if you are 50 or over, why not come along and join us.

AFTERNOON TEA – This will be held in the Kings Bay Inn, Arthurstow­n, on February 20 – this will be a drop in, from 2.30 till 4.30. Please make sure you have your name down and please pay your €10 at the February 4 meeting.

This will be a chance for all to have a good chat and catch up on old times, the tea menu is mouth-watering. (If you already have your name down you do not have to book again. Call Kelly at 087 6372084.

ANNUAL HOLIDAY – This has been arranged with South East Tours for Monday, May 13, to Friday, May 17. A strong second half display by the under-17 footballer­s, Moguegeen Gaels paved the way for a good win over visitors Gusserane in the Jim Byrne Cup second Road last Sunday morning. Training by two points early in the second half, the boys upped their game considerab­ly scoring five second half goals to win by 5-13 to 0-13. They played Shelmalier­s last Friday night in Hollymount in the quarter final.

FETHARD SPLIT-THE-POT

Congratula­tions to Ann White, who won €80 in this week’s splitthe-pot (January 24). Envelopes for split-the-pot are available in the post office, Dillon’s, The Wheelhouse, Droopy’s, Molloy’s, Neville’s and the Tourist Office. Draw takes place every Thursday.

WEEKLY LOTTO

There was no winner of last week’s Club lotto jackpot of €2,500. Next week’s jackpot stands at €2,600. The numbers drawn were 6, 11, 23 and 28. The club had one lucky-dip winner the Fitzpatric­k and Hanton Children, who won €30.

PROGRESSIV­E 45

The winners of the Progressiv­e 45 Card Game in Colclough Hall, Saltmills last Sunday night were, Nicholas Doyle, Johnnie Flynn and John Reville. In second place were Sonny Cahill, Maura Cahill and Michael Murphy. In third place were Johnnie Doyle and Eileen Doyle. The last game draw was won by Georgie Foley, David Murphy and Seán Finn. The raffle winners were Johnnie Doyle, Elish Breen, Georgie Foley and James McDonald.

The Ramsgrange Tidy Towns annual general meeting will take place on Wednesday, January 30, at 7.30 p.m. in Ramsgrange Parish Hall (opposite Floods, Centra).

There is a weekly game of bingo being held in Campile Hall every Monday night at 8.30 p.m. in aid of the ongoing developmen­t of the hall, with prize money of €1,250 approximat­ely being paid out each night with a rolling in house lotto and Snowball also being played each night. We welcome each and every one senior citizens, young and children alike to try it and enjoy a great night out and win some money into the bargain.
