PBP TD launches Sue’s election bid

LOCAl activist Susan (Sue) Breen’s election campaign was launched by People Before Profit TD Brid Smith at the Green Door pub on Mary Street in New Ross.

A crowd attended the People Before Profit candidate’s election campaign. At the well attended Saturday afternoon launch, Ms Smith called on anyone in the New Ross area with a passion for real political change to get behind Sue’s campaign.

Speaking afterwards Sue said: ‘I have been overwhelmed with the support and desire for genuine change in New Ross. The momentum that began with the victory for people power in the anti-water charges campaign is alive and well in our town. This enthusiasm was reflected at the election launch and I am confident that in these upcoming elections PBP will break the cosy FF/FG club in Wexford County Council.

‘People are fed up of feeling that our public representatives do not genuinely represent them. New Ross needs a strong left wing voice, with your support we can make that a reality.’
