Public order conviction

A PUBLIC order conviction was marked against Nan Connors (23), Flat 1, 30 Mary Street, New Ross at the District Court on January 15.

The prosecution was brought by the garda who responded to a report that an intoxicated female at St Martin’s Park in Ballycullane on January 26 last year.

Ms Connors was arrested at the scene as she appeared to be a danger to herself and to others.

The defendant was not present in court as she was fined €300 by Judge Gerard Haughton for being drunk in public.
