Overhead line planning

EIRGRID PLC have secured planning permission from Wexford County Council to carry out works on the 49km Great Island to Kilkenny overhead line.

Eirgrid sought permission in September to develop the 110KV line, 2.6km of which is located within County Wexford (46.4km is located within Kilkenny), and were granted planning on Friday.
