REMEMBRANCE MASS

A Special Remembrance Mass will be offered for all those who died in the past year (November 2018-November 2019) in the Church of the Assumption Rosbercon on Friday, November 29. The Mass is being organised by the Pastoral Council, who will be in touch with families of the deceased. All are very welcome to attend this Mass which will commence at 7.30 p.m.

PARISH DRAW

The annual Parish Draw will take place on Sunday, December 8. Proceeds from this fundraiser go to maintain the buildings and churches of the parish. In the coming weeks tickets for the draw will be distributed to all homes and people are asked to purchase at least three books containing 18 tickets in order to make the draw a success. Each book costs €10 and if anyone can afford to buy more than three books it would be a great help.

OVERSEAS CHRISTMAS GREETINGS

For the past number of years, the Rosbercon Pastoral Council have been sending Christmas Greeting Cards to parishioners in many different lands across the water. If you know somebody, relative or friend, who might like to be remembered from home and get a card we will do the needful. Names and addresses can be handed in to the parish office, to Fr Dan Cavanagh, or email jamesiemurphy@gmail.com as soon as possible.

LINE DANCING

There are Line Dancing Classes every Tuesday and Thursday evenings in the Parish Hall. Classes for beginners commence at 7 p.m. and all other dancers at 8 p.m. These are great social events, making friends, having fun and at the same time keeping fit. Teenager classes will be starting soon and for further information please contact Sarah at 087 9792483 who will give you all the details.

MEALS ON WHEELS

Anyone requiring a piping hot meal delivered by a caring person every day at the same time are invited to contact the New Ross Meals on Wheels Service. The manager, Meals on Wheels, St Aidan Centre, Cross St will be only too happy to help with any enquiry and the contact phone number is 051 445711.
