Goals from Mary O’Neill and Leona Breen had Ferns 2-0 ahead at the break, but Forth struck back in the second-half, with Laura

Stafford and Rianna Cullen scoring to tie the game up on 90 minutes.

Two goals from Lynn Marie Grant saw Forth go 4-2 up in extra-time before Nicola Davitt scored five minutes from the end to set up a nervy finish, with the home side doing enough to hang on for a place in the last eight.

Premier side North End United travelled to Bree United, current joint leaders of Division 1, and the visitors ran riot as they overcame the home side 8-1.

A last-minute goal from Aoife Gleeson saw Premier side Courtown Hibs eventually edge past a determined Tombrack who will feel disappointed not to have at least got to extra-time.

In the only league match played, Adamstown returned to joint leadership of Division 1 as they overcame Camolin Celtic 2-1, with Karalina Jaglarz rounding off the current phase of her Wexford league career with two goals. Emma Carton scored for Camolin.
